Felonious Munk is an Ethiopian standup comedian, social commentator, and above average beardsman, currently based in Chicago. As an actor Munk is known for playing the recurring roles of Hassan on the ABC series For Life and The Laughter on Max’s series South Side, as well as starring in the feature film Night's End on Shudder (alongside Michael Shannon), and the BET feature film Block Party. Munk also narrated the ABC documentary Our America: Living While Black and was host of the Fusion podcast The Brave. As a standup comic, Munk has appeared on Comedy Central’s Stand Up Featuring and was a regular on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. Munk performed at the legendary Second City Chicago as co-creator, host, and writer for the groundbreaking and critically acclaimed shows Afrofuturism and Black Side of the Moon, as well as wrote and starred in the hit play Nothing to Lose (But Our Chains) that was produced by The Second City. Nothing to Lose had its world premiere at The Woolly Mammoth Theatre in DC to outstanding reviews. Munk can be seen performing standup regularly across the county, including headlining at The Gotham in NYC, The Secret Comedy Club in Dallas, Stand Up NYC, The Stand NY, DC Comedy Loft, The Laugh Factory Chicago, Zanies, and the New York Comedy Club to name a few. - Shows starting at 9:30pm or later are 21+, and shows starting earlier are 18+ with a valid ID.
- Seats only guaranteed until showtime. Ticket price is more expensive at the door (if any remain).
- Premium seating is in the front row of the balcony, and front two rows. General Admission is first come, first serve.
